Qatar Airways Cargo will fly a freighter to Dallas/Fort Worth via Liege twice a week from January 19, 2016.

“We are delighted to start 2016 with the addition of Dallas/Fort Worth to our network,” said Ulrich Ogiermann, chief officer of cargo at Qatar Airways. “This is just the beginning of our expansion plans for this year, which will see both our network and our fleet growing in size and strength. This US is a very important market for Qatar Airways Cargo and Dallas/Fort Worth is strategically well placed to give us further reach into the region.”

According to Qatar Airways, industries expected to benefit from the new service include defence, financial services, IT and data, life sciences, semiconductors, telecommunications, transportation and processing.

The flight will be operated by one of Qatar Airways Cargo’s eight Boeing 777 Freighters, and will be the carrier’s sixth freighter route in the Americas.
