DELTA CARGO EXTENDS SUSPENSION OF SHANGHAI SERVICES UNTIL MAY 6

Delta Cargo announced that it is extending the suspension of all its services in Shanghai amid ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns in the major Chinese air cargo and shipping hub.

"Due to local Covid restrictions, all flights in and out of Shanghai, CN (PVG) have been suspended," the freight arm of Delta Air Lines said in an April 20 operational advisory.

 

"The embargo of all products (import/export/transfer) PVG has been extended until May 6," it added.

 

Delta announced the halt of all services in Shanghai due to the ongoing situation there in early April to last until April 18.

 

"We apologize for the inconvenience. We will continue to monitor local conditions and provide updates as the situation evolves," Delta Cargo added.
