QATAR CARGO EXTENDS WITH DNATA IN BRUSSELS

Qatar Airways Cargo has extended its Brussels ground handling contract with dnata.

dnata will continue to provide cargo handling and road feeder services for the airline from its facilities at Brussels Airport as part of the multi-year contract (BRU).

"We are proud to have earned the trust and loyalty of Qatar Airways Cargo with our reliable and safe services. We continue to invest in our operations to consistently provide world-class quality to the airline and its customers," said Stef Vanbinst, managing director of dnata Belgium.

Qatar Airways Cargo now offers a mix of 15 freighter and passenger flights to and from Brussels per week. dnata handled 25% more freight for the airline at BRU in 2021 than the year before.

Since its entry into the Belgian market in 2019, the company has more than doubled the size of its freight center, which currently spans 7,000 square meters.

Earlier this month, dnata inaugurated a new facility at Heathrow Airport on behalf of Virgin Atlantic Cargo and Delta Cargo clients.
