AMERICAN AIRLINES CARGO EXPANDS AMERICAS, CARIBBEAN ORIGINS ON WEBCARGO

American Airlines Cargo has announced expanded Americas and Caribbean origins on WebCargo, now with the inclusion of 28 new countries and more than 40 markets across Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada.

 

The American airline said its cargo network continues to expand on WebCargo and following Europe and the US, this regional rollout onto WebCargo now includes a "significant portion" of the carrier's global network, with plans to continue expanding on the platform in the coming months.

 

American currently operates more than 5,000 monthly flights out of these regions, including widebody flights out of Buenos Aires (EZE), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Santiago (SCL) and São Paulo (GRU) to US hubs – enabling WebCargo users to take advantage of large capacity and endless connection opportunities throughout the airline's US network and beyond.

Camilo Garcia, Global VP of Business Development at WebCargo, also welcomed the announcement of the expanded origins in both the Americas and the Caribbean.
