Chapman Freeborn has placed its capacity on the WebCargo by Freightos, a platform for live air cargo rate distribution and bookings.
The air charter broker noted that WebCargo offers customers real-time airline connectivity, advanced rate management, live market rates and real-time eBooking, enabling users to book air cargo transportation in as little as 60 seconds.
Chapman Freeborn routinely organises part-charters, backloads and other commercially innovative solutions for ad hoc, peak season and project cargo, providing forwarders with air cargo capacity that is now available on WebCargo.
In a statement, it said that this global capacity includes popular routes such as Europe to Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the United States, as well as hard-to-reach areas.
“Chapman Freeborn facilitates 29,000 flights per year and has covered over nine million air miles. We have a track record of providing the best air cargo charter experience, and our strategic focus is on our customers’ air cargo needs,” said Reto Hunziker, president – Europe at Chapman Freeborn.
“Our partnership with WebCargo by Freightos will create further visibility and awareness of our brand, help us gain deeper market penetration and enable our customers to benefit from the speed and flexibility of WebCargo’s unparalleled platform,” he added.
Chapman Freeborn is the first and only charter broker integrated with WebCargo, joining freight forwarding and airline partners on the platform including Emirates SkyCargo, Etihad Cargo, Qatar Airways Cargo, China Southern and American Airlines.
Manel Galindo, CEO of WebCargo, said, “the addition of Chapman Freeborn’s capacity into WebCargo’s platform means freight forwarders in some 10,000 offices worldwide will gain instant access to their vast and unparalleled global network, covering routes such as Liège to Chicago, Dubai and Singapore.”
“Our combined strengths will provide competitive rates and a seamless booking and payment experience for forwarders who already conduct thousands of bookings every day on our platform,” he added.
The integration will commence in early October, and the Chapman Freeborn capacity available via WebCargo will continue to expand in the future.
