“To drive continuous improvement in pharma products handling at Hactl, we have not only complied with the WHO GDP standard, but have also built IATA Temperature Control Regulations recommendations, the most stringent requirements of our customer airlines and industry best practice into every area of our processes,” said Benny Siu, manager of quality assurance at Hactl.

The audit included an examination of Hactl’s staff competence, premises, equipment, processes, quality control and hygiene standards.

According to Hactl, its GDP certification is based on its “Golden Route” concept, which provides a constant-temperature, highest-priority service for all pharma shipments through a combination of specialized equipment and expedited processes.

“We welcome the growing logistics market for pharmaceutical products, and the evolving standards that accompany it,” said Siu. “Hactl is passionate about its pursuit of perfection in cold chain management, and will continue to push for ever-higher standards.”
