EMIRATES TO RETURN TO GUINEA
August 4, 2016
Emirates will resume flying to Conakry, the capital of Guinea, from October 20, 2016.
The Conakry flight will be combined with the airline’s four-times-weekly non-stop service to Dakar, which is operated with a Boeing 777-300ER.
According to SkyCargo, Emirates’ freight division, the flight will offer approximately 20 tonnes of cargo capacity for export such as seafood, fruit, vegetables and textiles, as well as imports such as mobile phones, pharmaceuticals and mining equipment.
Emirates began the Dubai-Conakry-Dakar-Dubai route in October 2013, but suspended it in August 2014.
