QANTAS TO RESUME BEIJING FLIGHTS
October 17, 2016
Qantas will resume non-stop flights between Sydney and Beijing on January 25, 2017.
The daily flight will be operated with an Airbus A330-200.
According to Alan Joyce, chief executive of the Qantas Group, the free trade agreement between Australia and China had resulted in increased demand for freight between the two countries.
The carrier suspended flights to Beijing in 2009.
