EMIRATES TO LAUNCH CAMBODIA OPERATIONS
February 22, 2017
Emirates will begin flying to Phnom Penh from July 1, 2017.
The new flight will be operated daily with a Boeing 777-300ER, capable of carrying approximately 23 tonnes of cargo in its belly. Major exports from the Cambodian capital are expected to be garments and clothing.
The Phnom Penh flight will be routed via Yangon, replacing Hanoi on a route which Emirates launched in August 2016. Hanoi will become a separate non-stop route from July 1, also operated with a 777-300ER.
