Eli Glickman has assumed his responsibilities as the new president and CEO of ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd.

Glickman succeeds Rafi Danieli, who has been president and CEO of the company since 2009.

“I’m pleased and honoured to take office as ZIM’s CEO,” said Glickman. “ZIM is a dynamic company with a proud heritage. I’m confident in our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers, while striving for profitability and growth I want to thank Rafi Danieli, who has steered ZIM through rough seas. As CEO, my primary goal is to continue this positive momentum and lead ZIM to greater heights.”

Glickman previously served as CEO of the Israel Electric Corporation from 2011 to 2015. He has worked as deputy CEO of Partner-Orange Cellular Communication and served as CEO of logistics company Exel MPL from 2003 to 2005, according to ZIM.
