Delta Air Lines will launch a non-stop flight between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport in July 2018.

The new flight will be operated by a Boeing 777-200LR, which is capable of carrying approximately 15 tonnes of cargo in its belly.

Atlanta will be Delta’s fourth destination from Shanghai, adding to Detroit, Los Angeles and Seattle.

Delta already flies to Seoul and Tokyo in Asia from its Atlanta hub.
