JET AIRWAYS ACCEPTS E-BOOKINGS
September 8, 2015
India’s Jet Airways will now accept electronic freight bookings through the Worldwide Information Network platform.
“As a high-tech carrier, we strongly encourage our agents to work with us electronically and are pleased to add WIN as a new channel for e-booking,” said James Gilliard, acting vice president of cargo at Jet Airways. “Jet Airways has been connected with WIN since spring 2015 for e-air waybills and has seen steady growth in electronic transactions with SME forwarders on the platform.”
John DeBenedette, managing director of WIN, said that agents who book and submit AWBs electronically “work smarter, faster and more accurately, and get complete shipment visibility automatically.”
