QATAR AND GUYANA SIGN AIR SERVICES AGREEMENT

Qatar and Guyana have signed an air service agreement that will permit Qatar's flag carrier, Qatar Airways, to operate in the South American country.

 

In a statement posted by the Centre for Aviation (CAPA), it said the agreement was signed by Qatar Civil Aviation Authority chairman Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey and Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA ) director-general Egbert Field on September 25.

 

The agreement permits Qatar Airways to operate any number of passenger and cargo frequencies to Guyana as well as allow cooperation between carriers concerned.

 

It will also permit Qatar Airways to have an operation centre in Guyana and to fly to any country in the region and the other regions.
