Qatar Airways Cargo will operate a fourth weekly freighter flight to Los Angeles International Airport beginning from January 19, 2016, according to Akbar Al Baker, chief executive of the Qatar Airways Group.

The flight will be operated with a Boeing 777 Freighter and will offer approximately 100 tonnes of capacity in each direction.

Al Baker was speaking at a press conference celebrating the launch of the airline’s daily 777-200LR passenger flight to Los Angeles, which began on January 1, 2016 and which offers approximately 16 tonnes of cargo capacity.
