Singapore Airlines will launch a “Capital Express” flight on September 20, 2016, connecting Singapore with Canberra and Wellington.
“This new service linking Singapore, Canberra and Wellington reflects the close ties between the three countries,” said Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines.
The flight will be operated four times a week with a Boeing 777-200, making a stop in Canberra in both directions.
Singapore Airlines will become the first airline to fly non-stop between the two capital cities, and the first to operate scheduled international flights to and from Canberra.
