Emirates has launched its flight connecting Yinchuan and Zhengzhou to Dubai.
“We are confident the new air transport links will also help boost trade and tourism flows to the growing central and western parts of China where these cities are located,” said Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive of Emirates. “We would like to thank the government and airport authorities for their warm welcome and support in the launch of our flights, and we look forward to serving our customers on the route.”
The four-weekly flight is operated by a Boeing 777-200LR, which offers a bellyhold cargo capacity of 14 tonnes.
Emirates expects the flight to carry Chinese exports such as mobile phones from Zhengzhou and agricultural products like goji berries and cashmere from Yinchuan.
Emirates also flies to Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai in Mainland China.
Details of the new flights are as follows.
