Jettainer said it will continue to provide ITA Airways with its Unit Load Device (ULD) management services for another contract period.

In the announcement, Jettainer noted that it supports ITA Airways in its growth in the passenger and cargo division and provides a customized fleet of ULDs of more than 4,000 containers and pallets.

Jettainer manages ITA Airways' entire ULD fleet with its unique combination of sophisticated IT solutions and an experienced team.

It added that this approach provides the "greatest possible transparency" and visibility within the process of ULD use, maximizes ULD utilization rates and avoids empty positioning runs, reducing costs and CO2 emissions. ITA Airways also benefits from reliability and flexibility in ULD supply, supporting its continued growth trajectory.

The Italian airline serves a growing network of destinations in Europe, Africa, North, Central and South America and Asia via its hub in Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate airport.
