SriLankan Cargo has partnered with CargoAi to enhance its airfreight booking and payment processes. 

The integration of SriLankan Cargo's airfreight services into CargoAi’s ecosystem provides users with access to online booking and immediate cross-border payment capabilities while enabling SriLankan Cargo to expand its reach and support previously untapped forwarders.

CargoAi said in a statement that its integration with SriLankan Cargo also streamlines payment processes by offering multiple payment methods, ranging from local transfers to credit card payments, removing the reliance on cash payments and enhancing security and efficiency in financial transactions.

Additionally, CargoAi noted that its "CargoWALLET platform" facilitates the reconciliation process, automating tasks that were previously manual and time-consuming. 

It said that for freight forwarders, the integration also means that they no longer need to provide a bank guarantee or pay yearly subscriptions.
