HONG KONG AIRPORT ANNOUNCES FRED LAM AS NEW AAHK CHAIRMAN

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) — the world's busiest cargo hub — said the new chairman of the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), Fred Lam, took office on June 1 for a term of three years.

 

Prior to this appointment, Lam was AAHK's chief executive officer (CEO) from October 1, 2014 to May 31, 2024.

 

In a brief announcement, HKIA added that Vivian Cheung, chief operating officer at AAHK, will also serve as the acting CEO of the AAHK from June 1, 2024.

 

"The Board will conduct a global search for the CEO," AAHK said.
