The logistics centre is located 8km from the airport, 25km from the seaport and has quick access to the Asian highway network.

“This is a worthy investment in view to reinforce our presence in Myanmar, and it will enable us to offer more value-added services to our customers such as kitting, packing, labelling, price-tagging and delivery nationwide,” said Elizabeth Shwe, director of Bolloré Logistics Myanmar.

According to Bolloré, the new 6,000m2 warehouse has seven loading bays, forklifts, CCTV, fire protection and 24/7 security guards, and is targeted at industries such as garments, telecommunications and medical equipment.

“Following our successes and developments in telecom and medical equipment, it was much needed to continue investing in order to cope with the continuous increase of garment needs,” said Julien Loiret, general manager of Bolloré Logistics Myanmar.

The Myanmar branch office has also been developing tailor-made solutions for customers in the textile industry such as buyer consolidation and multimodal delivery overseas, according to Bolloré.
