HKIA EYED AS A GLOBAL E-COMMERCE LOGISTICS HUB

U-Freight Group subsidiary e+Solutions (ePlus) said it is helping push Hong Kong as a global e-commerce logistics hub.

e+Solutions (ePlus), an e-commerce logistics provider, noted that it recently played a major role in a new corporate video launched by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) titled 'Hong Kong International Airport—The e-commerce fulfilment hub in Asia'.

The video is part of a campaign to highlight Hong Kong's unique advantages as a global logistics centre and attract more companies to utilise its infrastructure for e-commerce operations.

"Parts of the video were filmed at e+Solutions' (ePlus) state-of-the-art eCommerce Logistics Centre at Chuen Kei Industrial Centre in Kwai Chung," U-Freight said in a statement.

It said that the promotional video also features other prominent logistics stakeholders, all of which share insights into how Hong Kong's world-class logistics capabilities support international commerce.

"The key objectives of the video are to showcase Hong Kong as a free port with duty-free import/export policies and streamlined return procedures, whilst highlighting its strategic role as a middle-transit hub for logistics companies around the globe," it added.

As a key participant in the video, e+Solutions (ePlus) noted that it aims to elevate its brand visibility through exposure on AAHK's online platforms and position itself as a leading overseas eCommerce fulfilment hub.

With its advanced automated mobile robots (AMR) system, e+Solutions (ePlus) efficiently handles both B2B and B2C order requirements, demonstrating its capacity to streamline logistics processes for businesses worldwide.

"By participating in this initiative, e+Solutions (ePlus) aims to foster closer relationships with AAHK and the other stakeholders, promoting mutually beneficial partnerships that contribute to the growth of the global eCommerce ecosystem," the U-Freight subsidiary added.

The corporate video emphasises Hong Kong's standing as a top-tier logistics hub capable of connecting companies to markets worldwide. It features insights from the five participating stakeholders and highlights how Hong Kong's competitive advantages and Hong Kong International Airport's (HKIA) advanced cargo infrastructure support global shipping, positioning the city as a vital player in the success of eCommerce businesses.

"This collaboration underscores e+Solutions' (ePlus) commitment to promoting Hong Kong as a critical eCommerce hub and highlights its dedication to fostering partnerships that drive global trade and logistics innovation," ePlus said.
