YANG MING ENHANCES JKX SERVICE WITH HAIPHONG EXTENSION

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) will further optimize its intra-Asia service network by enhancing its Japan (Kansai) – Taiwan – South China route (Japan Kansai Express, JKX) starting in early March 2025.

The route will be extended to Haiphong, Vietnam, to meet the country's growing market demand.

In the announcement, Yang Ming said this extension aims to strengthen Yang Ming's competitive position in Southeast Asia, capitalize on the opportunities in the region's emerging economies, and drive business growth in the intra-Asia Market.

The enhanced JKX service will offer a 21-day round voyage with a fixed weekly sailing schedule. The JKX service will follow the Osaka – Kobe – Keelung – Kaohsiung – Nansha – Shekou – Haiphong – Hong Kong – Shekou – Osaka port rotation.
