Qatar Airways has expanded its Italian network by launching non-stop flights to Pisa.
“This is one of the most prestigious milestones in the history of Tuscany Airports, as the benefits for our region will soon be under the eyes of all,” said Marco Carrai, president of Tuscany Airports. “This is an achievement that Tuscany Airports can really be proud of.”
While the inaugural flight was operated with an Airbus A330-200, an A320 will fly the route on a daily basis, offering a weekly cargo capacity of 11 tonnes in its belly.
Qatar Airways now flies to four passenger destinations in Italy, with two daily flights to Milan, two daily to Rome and one daily to Venice.
Qatar Airways Cargo also operates seven weekly frequencies to Milan, with a mix of A330-200Fs and Boeing 777Fs.
