CMA CGM has added a direct call at Vung Tau, Vietnam to its MEX1 service, expanding access through its Gemalink Terminal and strengthening regional connectivity.

The first Vung Tau call on MEX1 will be operated by m/v "CMA CGM JULES VERNE" voy. 0MEM3W1MA, following the Vung Tau (ETA 27/10) - Valencia (ETA 25/11) - Barcelona (ETA 28/11) - Fos (ETA 30/11) - Malta (ETA 05/12) schedule.

In addition, CMA CGM said it is enhancing its coverage in Cambodia with a fast barge service from Phnom Penh, offering a competitive transit time to Vung Tau and a seamless integration into our network.

"With this new direct call at Vung Tau (VUT), we are the only provider offering this service to the Mediterranean, reinforcing our leadership in the region," CMA CGM said.

The company said its barge link between Phnom Penh and the Vung Tau terminal, along with MEX loop vessels and key Mediterranean hubs—Valencia, Fos-sur-Mer, and Malta—will help maintain reliable service across its network.
