Emirates SkyCargo has launched SkyWheels, its specialized product for the transportation of high-value, classic, luxury and sports automobiles.

The solution consists of SkyWheels Advanced and SkyWheels Premium.

The Advanced option offers airport-to-airport transportation, while the Premium option offers door-to-door transportation for select origins and destinations, covering export and import customs clearance procedures. Additional road and transport insurance is also available.

SkyCargo recently transported a collection of classic Ferraris to Dubai for the inaugural Gulf Concours event, part of the international Concours d’Elegance competitions. Some of the cars Emirates transported include a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, estimated to be worth more than US$40 million, a 1955 Ferrari 250 GT Competizione Berlinetta Sport Speciale and a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB Competizione.

Emirates SkyCargo operates a freighter fleet of two Boeing 747-400ERFs and 13 777Fs.
