Qatar Airways has upgraded the cargo capacity on its flight to Cape Town from November 2016.
The daily non-stop flight is now operated with a Boeing 777-300ER with a capacity of approximately 20 tonnes, instead of a 787-8 with approximately 10 tonnes of capacity.
The airline launched the Cape Town route in 2005, with four weekly flights via Johannesburg. The destinations were decoupled in November 2014.
