Ethiopian Airlines will begin flying non-stop to Singapore from June 2, 2017.
The new flight will be operated five times a week using a Boeing 787-8, and will continue on to Kuala Lumpur.
“In our continuous effort of connecting the continent of Africa with its major trading partners around the world through direct services and with the youngest fleet of modern airplanes, we are glad that we are able to offer a direct and non-stop services to the Lion City, Singapore, a global aviation centre and a preferred gateway to Asia and Australia,” said Tewolde GebreMariam, CEO of the Ethiopian Airlines Group.
Ethiopian operates a fleet of more than 80 aircraft, including Airbus A350-900s, 777s and 787-8s.
