Independent forwarder network The WACO System has appointed ITN Logistics, Trans Global Projects and ACE Logistics Bel as new members.
“The WACO System is proud to be the oldest independent network in the world, and we continue to grow our presence globally with the addition of local experts with a proven track record in the world’s most dynamic economies,” said Richard Charles, executive director of WACO.
ITN Logistics is based in Canada.
“The ITN Group of companies is very much looking forward to joining The WACO System,” said Ian Kennedy, managing director of ITN Logistics. “We are excited to find new business partners but more importantly new friends.”
Trans Global Projects is based in Azerbaijan and offers services such as customs clearance, port handling, vessel agency, local transport and international transport.
“We are delighted to be accepted as a member of the WACO network as the designated agent for Azerbaijan,” said Azer Aliyev, regional director of TGP. “TGP looks forward to being a member of the WACO network and the opportunities it brings for us in Azerbaijan and globally, as part of this extensive network.”
ACE Logistics Bel was founded in 2011 and is based in Belarus. It provides air, sea and road transport, warehousing services and other logistics solutions.
“Having a good and reliable network is very important and is something we have long enjoyed through WACO,” said Ignas Puluikis, managing director, of ACE. “We are delighted to represent Belarus, a developing country with great potential that is at the crossroads of the European Union and the Russian Federation, and we look forward to working with our new partners in the network.”
The WACS System now consists of 112 independent forwarders in 109 countries.
