Emirates has expanded its Southeast Asian network with the launch of a daily flight between Dubai and Phnom Penh, via Yangon.
The new flight is operated with a Boeing 777-300ER, which is capable of carrying approximately 23 tonnes of cargo in its belly.
Phnom Penh is the airline’s 13th destination in Southeast Asia.
The new flight is the first direct air connection between Phnom Penh and Yangon since 2014, according to Emirates.

The new Phnom Penh flight replaces Hanoi, which used to be served via Yangon and which will become a separate non-stop destination, also flown with a 777-300ER.
