Qatar Airways has launched its non-stop flight between Doha and Nice.

The new flight is operated five times a week with a Boeing 787-8, which will offer approximately 60 tonnes of bellyhold cargo capacity every week.

Major exports from Nice are expected to include perfumes, flowers, vaccines and general cargo.

Qatar Airways Cargo operates a twice-weekly 777F flight to Paris via London Stansted, and transports belly cargo on the airline’s thrice-daily passenger flights to the French capital with Airbus A350-900s and A380s.

The new flight will bring the total cargo capacity out of France to over 560 tonnes, according to the carrier.
