Delta Cargo has been granted approval to carry the Envirotainer RAP e2 on all of Delta Air Lines’ domestic and international widebody aircraft.

According to Delta, the container is ideal for shipments requiring a temperature range of +0°C and +20°C.

The active container expands Delta’s Pharma product offering and does not require dry ice as a coolant. It also has significantly more capacity than the Envirotainer RKN e1.

Delta Cargo is now approved to carry the entire Envirotainer active container line, the CSafe RKN, as well as va-Q-tec’s passive containers.

The carrier received its Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics certification from the International Air Transport Association in July 2017.
