ANA CARGO ADDS KYUSHU FREIGHTER SERVICE

ANA Cargo will begin freighter operations at Kitakyushu from June 4, 2018 in order to address the increase in demand from other Asian countries for Japanese goods from the Kyushu region, according to the ANA Group’s fiscal year 2018 flight schedule.

The new flight will be operated five times a week with a Boeing 767-300 freighter. It will originate in Kansai and head to ANA Cargo’s hub in Okinawa via Kitakyushu.

 

According to ANA, the Kyushu area is home to manufacturing industries including automobiles and semiconductors. The use of the carrier’s Okinawa cargo hub will allow for next-morning deliveries to a number of Asian cities.

Additionally, ANA Cargo will operate a five-times-weekly freighter flight from Narita to Tianjin from August 28, 2018.

 

ANA Cargo will also suspend its Narita-Kansai and Kansai-Tianjin routes from March 25, 2018, and the Kansai-Nagoya (Chubu)-Okinawa route from June 4, 2018.
