APL has launched the China Bangkok Express service, a new weekly shortsea service linking South China and Thailand.

The CBX service has a port rotation of: Hong Kong – Shekou – Nansha – Bangkok – Laem Chabang. The first sailing will depart from Hong Kong on April 18, 2018.

The new service will offer a transit time of four days from Nansha to Bangkok. It will also offer reefer and breakbulk solutions for special cargo shipments.

Shippers with cargo that are destined beyond Asia will be able to take advantage of further connectivity options at the transhipment hubs of Hong Kong and Chiwan, according to APL.
