United Arab Shipping Company has appointed Nabeel Al-Amudi as the new chairman and Ali bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani as the new vice chairman of the company’s board of directors.
The two will lead the board in executing the company’s global expansion plans, according to UASC.
Al-Amudi will leave his role as president of the Saudi Ports Authority. He has previously held managerial and leadership positions at national energy company Saudi Aramco.
Al-Thani has worked in the Qatar Investment Authority and is currently the chairman of Milaha, a Qatar-based shipping company.
