APL ENHANCES ASIA-GULF NETWORK

APL will enhance its weekly West Asia Express and West Asia Express 3 services in order to provide wider market coverage and better connectivity between the Far East and the Middle East.

 

According to the shipping line, the refined WAX service will offer additional coverage from Ningbo to Sohar and Hamad, as well as from Tianjin to Bahrain. The enhanced WA3 service will extend APL’s network to the ports of Jubail and Bahrain from Lianyungang and Hong Kong.

 

The WAX service will have a port rotation of: Tianjin – Qingdao – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Sohar – Jebel Ali – Hamad – Bahrain – Damman – Port Klang – Singapore – Yantian – Xiamen – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan.

 

The first sailing will depart from Tianjin on December 6, 2018.

 

The WA3 service will have a port rotation of: Busan – Lianyungang – Qingdao – Shanghai – Hong Kong – Shekou – Singapore – Jebel Ali – Damman – Jubail – Abu Dhabi – Singapore – Nansha – Busan.

 

The first sailing will depart from Busan on December 4, 2018.

 

Shippers will be able to connect to the Middle East feeder network via Jebel Ali, according to APL.
