GES OPENS NEW DELHI BRANCH

Charlotte-based Globe Express Services has opened an office in New Delhi, as part of GES’ strategic plans to expand into new regions and countries to cater to growing demand for logistics services.

This is especially true for India, where the logistics market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 12.17% by 2020, according to industry forecasts. This is because of the boom in the county’s manufacturing, retail, fast-moving consumer goods and e-commerce sectors.

“GES is already operating in India through its office in Mumbai and the New Delhi branch will help integrate the country seamlessly into our international network,” said Mustapha Kawam, president and CEO of GES. “We are upbeat that it will drive in growth of the company while addressing the demand for specialized logistics service providers in North India.”

GES, which began operations in 1974, now has 55 offices in 20 countries.
