MSC IMPROVES ASIA-LATIN AMERICA NETWORK

Mediterranean Shipping Company has enhanced its services between Asia and the West Coast of Latin America from December, adding two port calls to the existing service and offering two new strings.

 

Calls at Balboa and Coronel will be added to the current Andes service, which will be operated by 12 9,000 TEU vessels.

 

The port rotation will be: Busan – Shanghai – Xiamen – Chiwan – Hong Kong – Busan – Manzanillo – Lazaro Cardenas – Balboa – Buenaventura – Callao – San Antonio – Coronel – Lirquen – Puerto Angamos – Callao – Lazaro Cardenas – Manzanillo – Busan.

 

The first sailing for this updated service will be December 26, 2015.

 

MSC is also adding two new services, called Aztec and Inca.

 

Aztec will begin on December 23, 2015, and will use 10 9,000 TEU vessels, with a port rotation of: Qingdao – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan – Yokohama – Ensenada – Manzanillo – Lazaro Cardenas – Balboa – Buenaventura – Guayaquil – Balboa – Manzanillo – Ensenada – Yokohama – Busan – Qingdao.

 

Inca, which will be serviced by 10 7,100 TEU vessels, begins on December 26, 2015. The rotation will be: Keelung – Hong Kong – Yantian – Xiamen – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan – Manzanillo – Callao – Iquique – Puerto Angamos – Valparaiso.
