WFS WINS TENDER TO MANAGE PALLETISATION LANE FOR AIR FRANCE KLM MARTINAIR CARGO FOR PARIS CDG

Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP Cargo) has awarded Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) a contract to provide cargo handling staff for one of the palletisation lanes at its freight terminal G1XL at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for the next two years.

Laurent Bernard, vice president cargo France at WFS, said: “This is the first time that our teams at Paris CDG are providing cargo airline assistance via an in-house customer warehouse operation instead of in our own facility ... This is a new business model for WFS in France and a welcome opportunity to consolidate and extend our partnership with Air France.”

WFS already provides cargo handling and documentation services for Air France at Paris Orly and at regional airports in the French provinces.
