CMA CGM TO OMIT SAVANNAH ON ITS SERVICE CONNECTING NORTH EUROPE-US EAST COAST

CMA CGM said it is dropping Savannah port in its LIBERTY BRIDGE Service connecting North Europe to the US East Coast due to the ongoing congestion in the Georgia port and in order to ensure a schedule integrity of the service.

 

In a statement, the ocean carrier said Savannah port will be removed from the vessel rotation on a temporary basis.

 

The vessels/voyages where Savannah port will be omitted commencing with the m/v "CMA CGM TOSCA" voy. 0LBAHW1MA are:

Meanwhile, the full and revised rotation will follow the Southampton - Antwerp - Rotterdam - Bremerhaven - Le Havre - New York - Norfolk - Charleston - Southampton route.

 

CMA CGM said during this period, as an alternative option Savannah cargo can be booked to Charleston port in the nearby South Carolina instead.
