CMA CGM announced that it will be launching a new India East Coast Express 2 (IEX 2) service that connects Asia with Indian Subcontinent.

IEX 2 features a shuttle service from Singapore to Chennai and Colombo with the port rotation Singapore – Chennai – Colombo – Singapore.

The new service m/v "Songa Tiger" has an estimated time departure (ETD) from Singapore on May 30.

CMA CGM said this will connect Chennai exports via Colombo on CMA CGM's extensive network.
