C.H. Robinson has appointed Jack Chang and John Chen as vice presidents of Asia Global Forwarding.
“Asia is an important market for C.H. Robinson, and China is a hub for our business in the region, which is a critical part of our global growth strategy,” said Andy Wang, president of C.H. Robinson Asia. “With proven expertise in logistics, I believe Jack and John will further strengthen our business in Asia, especially in China, and provide strong support to our customers through innovative supply chain solutions in this region.”
Chang [left in photo] was previously director of operations at C.H. Robinson Asia and general manager of Taiwan.
“Our top priority is continuing to invest in our employees to help ensure they are empowered to execute and meet our customers’ needs,” he said. “As our customers’ demands continue to change in the marketplace, our teams in Asia need to continue to not just meet, but exceed, our customers’ expectations.”
Chen [right in photo], who joined C.H. Robinson when it acquired Phoenix International in 2012, was most recently general manager of C.H. Robinson Hong Kong.
“Jack and I are excited to expand the reach of C.H. Robinson Asia and work closely with our customers wherever they need us, in addition to growing C.H. Robinson’s footprint in Asia as global supply chains continue to evolve,” he said. “The dynamic market in Asia demands our innovations bring our customers value and allow them to thrive.”
Both Chang and Chen will report to Wang.
