BOLLORÉ LOGISTICS USA APPOINTS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Bolloré Logistics USA has appointed Marc Sawaya as its new chief executive officer effective August 1, as the company looks to further grow in the country.

 

Sawaya will report directly to Yves Laforgue, CEO of Bolloré Logistics for the Americas.

 

Bolloré said in its announcement that Sawaya has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain management, including ten with Bolloré Logistics, where he held the positions of Regional Director for Central Region in Canada and Sales Director for the Americas.

 

It added that Sawaya also "largely contributed" to the sales development of Bolloré Logistics in the Americas region by relying on its main verticals such as aerospace, pharmaceuticals and luxury.

 

"I am delighted that Marc Sawaya will take on the role of CEO USA, and I look forward to seeing him accompany our teams and support the company in its next major growth phases," said Yves Laforgue.

 

Building on "positive growth"

 

Bolloré noted that Sawaya's mission will be to support the company's strategy and promote its development by prioritizing customer needs and he will support the upskilling of employees while balancing the teams.

 

Bolloré Logistics USA has more than 500 employees and 18 offices. The company offers complete supply chain solutions in several industry sectors such as aerospace, healthcare, cosmetics & perfumes, fashion & retail, chemicals, and energy, among others.

 

The USA unit of the French logistics company has experienced significant growth in recent years, according to the announcement.
