Delta Cargo has approved the use of Envirotainer Releye® RAP for temperature controlled container after it was launched earlier this year.
Releye® RAP is the largest of the new generation Releye containers, and it is designed to meet the strictest requirements in pharmaceutical air freight.
Its integrated live monitoring enables unique insight into a shipment's condition and location while its increased efficiency reduces each shipment's CO2 footprint.
"To expand our offer of pharmaceutical transportation solutions, Delta Cargo has approved the Envirotainer Releye RAP for use on our fleet," Delta Cargo said in a statement.
"With this approval, we can now transport the Releye RAP throughout our expanding global pharma network, increasing our capacity to meet the growing need for temperature-controlled, connected ULD solutions," it added.
Before this announcement, Delta Cargo said in January that it approved the use of Envirotainer Releye RLP for usage on its fleet of aircraft citing increasing growth in demand for temperature-sensitive cargo.
