Asia Airfreight Terminal Co. Ltd. (AAT) has announced the appointment of Mike Chew as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Chew will succeed Kuah Boon Kiam, who has been at the helm of AAT since 2016.

In a statement, Hong Kong-based AAT said Kuah will assume a new role at SATS Ltd. in Singapore from January 2023.

Chew has been in the aviation and airfreight industry for 30 years. He has held various senior leadership roles in the SATS group, including CEO at Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) and also the same chief executive officer role at Beijing Aviation Ground Services Co. Ltd. (BGS).

"Under Mike's leadership, AAT will continue to serve the Hong Kong aviation industry at our very best," AAT said in its announcement.
