Maersk Line has appointed Ulf Hahnemann as its new chief human resources officer from August 1, 2016.

Hahnemann will succeed Michael Chivers, who resigned in January 2016 and will leave by the end of May 2016.

Hahnemann will also be a member of Maersk Line’s management board.

According to Maersk, Hahnemann holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Copenhagen Business School and is currently vice president for strategic programmes at Mars Inc., where he has been working since 1989.
