SINGAPORE MARITIME FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES BOARD CHANGES

The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) announced two new additions to its Board with effect from January 1, 2024.

 

It said that the new Board Members are Nelson Quek, regional CEO of Southeast Asia, PSA International, and Jeremy Sutton, CEO of Swire Shipping.

 

Meanwhile, SMF noted that the terms of Board Members Chua San Lye, Dean, Seatrium Academy, and Ong Kim Pong, Group CEO Designate, PSA International, will end on December 31, 2023.

 

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our deep appreciation to San Lye and Kim Pong for their invaluable contributions to the Singapore Maritime Foundation. They are tireless advocates of our work, and the Board has benefited from their rich experience and perspectives," said Hor Weng Yew,  chairman of the Singapore Maritime Foundation.

 

"I welcome Nelson and Jeremy to the Board and look forward to working with them to advance SMF's mission to connect the maritime ecosystem, build a talent pool for the sector, and transform the workforce as change in our industry accelerates," he added.
