In light of the recent announcement of Hapag-Lloyd of its future partnership with Maersk from 2025, THE Alliance maintained that the cooperative group of shipping lines will continue to provide robust services throughout 2024.
THE Alliance — which consists of Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, HMM, and Yang Ming — made the announcement after Hapag-Lloyd announced its intention to depart the shipping alliance and start a new long-term operational collaboration with Maersk in February 2025 to be called "Gemini Cooperation."
"In response to recent developments surrounding THE Alliance, which includes member lines Hapag-Lloyd, HMM, Yang Ming Marine Transport, and Ocean Network Express, we wish to emphasize our unwavering commitment to maintaining robust cooperation throughout 2024, ensuring that the highest standards of cooperation and exceptional service are delivered to our stakeholders and the industry at large," THE Alliance said in a statement.
THE Alliance's 2024 service offering will be valid until the end of January 2025.
