“Our non-stop service between San Francisco and Singapore further enhances our already unprecedented trans-Pacific route network and builds an even stronger gateway to the Pacific from our San Francisco hub,” said Jim Compton, vice chairman and chief revenue officer of United.

The airline will terminate its flight between Tokyo Narita and Singapore as a result of the new non-stop service, but will keep its flight between Hong Kong and Singapore.

United’s trans-Pacific network from San Francisco now consists of Beijing, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo Narita and Xi’an.
