Fraport AG announced that Denis de Farias Duarte will assume the role of Head of the Cargo Development team at the company starting January 1, 2025.
The German transport company that operates Frankfurt Airport and has interests in operating several other airports around the world said de Farias Duarte would be mainly responsible for further developing the cargo business at Frankfurt Airport.
Fraport noted that de Farias Duarte succeeds Max Conrady, who has held this position for six years and is leaving the company at his own request.

Denis is a proven cargo professional with a track record of more than 25 years of international experience in the airfreight and logistics industry," said Simone Schwab, senior vice president of aviation and cargo development at Fraport AG.
Born in Brazil, Denis de Farias Duarte is 49 years old and holds 25 years of experience in the air freight and logistics industry.
He is moving within the Fraport Group from FCS Frankfurt Cargo Services GmbH.
He previously held various positions at Lufthansa Cargo, Qatar Airways and Lufthansa Consulting.
In April 2024, he joined FCS in Frankfurt as a senior sales manager.
The Cargo Development Team at Fraport AG focuses on the continued development and implementation of the Cargo Master Plan for the digitalization and optimization of cargo processes, expansion and marketing together with its partners at Frankfurt Airport.
