ECU Worldwide, Allcargo Logistics' wholly-owned global subsidiary and LCL consolidation company, has appointed Jan Kleine-Lasthues as its chief operating officer.
In this role, he will oversee the global operational functions across all regions at ECU Worldwide.
Allcargo Logistics said that Kleine-Lasthues will be part of the global leadership team and focused on institutionalising operations and process optimization, enhancing customer delight.
He will also lead the digital transformation and technology integration, trade lane strategies and network management.
Jan brings over 20 years of experience in logistics in global organizations.
Before joining ECU Worldwide, Kleine-Lasthues served as the global chief operating officer of Air Freight at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, where his 13-year tenure was instrumental in building the air freight vertical, expanding the global air freight division globally, launching a new vertical for marine spares, and leading the cruise logistics business.
